Megan Tabor was promoted to be the new marketing manager for the Tourism Revelstoke, the Revelstoke Accommodation Association announced last week.
Tabor has worked as the tourism marketing coordinator for the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce since August 2011 and her new role will see her be responsible for leading destination marketing efforts for the community.
She has lived in Revelstoke since 2007 and has worked on various tourism initiatives since moving here. As the marketing coordinator, she worked alongside Thom Tischik, the previous marketing manager, to promote Revelstoke as a destination.
"The Revelstoke Accommodation Association is very excited to have Meghan join the team, as she brings with her a wealth of industry experience and a passion for Revelstoke" said Peter Nielsen, the chair of RAA.
