The first and hopefully annual Love Revelstoke event in downtown Revelstoke was a great place to bring the kids and let them loose for a couple hours on the dozens of free games and activities.
Grizzly Plaza and First Street West were covered with dozens of attractions, including a whole bunch of giant inflatables, games with prizes, free food and drink and lots of games of skill, all focused towards children.
The event was organized by Christian City Church, popularly known as C3 Church. They’re located above the RBC Bank downtown. “We love this city,” says C3 Church pastor Dave Olson. He said the event was an opportunity to share and celebrate that love with all the community.
Until last year, the church had been involved in the children-focused Eggstravaganza event, but this year decided to change it up and put on an event hosted solely by the C3 Church. In addition to many Revelstoke members, there was a big contingent of volunteers from the C3 congregation in Kelowna.
