Mr. Angelo Pasceri passed away peacefully at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Monday, August 10th, 2015 at the age of 90 years. Prayers will be recited from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church at 8.00 p.m. Friday evening, August 14th, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial at 2.00 p.m. Saturday afternoon, August 15th with Father Aaron de Dios celebrant. Interment will follow in the family plot of Mountain View Cemetery where Angelo was laid to rest beside his beloved wife Elisa. Pallbearers were Angelo’s grandchildren: Elisa, Isaiah, Kalia, Nikki, Christopher, Mike, Evan, Brent and Benji.


Angelo was born in Zero Branco, Treviso, Italy on August 23, 1924 and came to Revelstoke in 1950. He lived here for ten years and then moved away until 1967 when he moved back permanently. Angelo was a baker by trade and loved to bake for family and friends. He loved sports including hockey, baseball, soccer and football, but bocce was his passion. Angelo enjoyed gardening, mushroom picking, cutting his own firewood and being outdoors. He enjoyed his coffee time with friends. Angelo’s joy in life was his family, and he loved the time he spent with his grandchildren.


Angelo was predeceased by his wife Elisa in 1989. He is survived by four children: Torino (Raffaela) Pasceri of Revelstoke, Joe (Annette) Pasceri of Vancouver, Lelina (Jim) Gounden of Calgary and Dennis (Chantelle) Pasceri of Vancouver; nine grandchildren: Brent, Evan, Mike, Benji, Christopher, Nikki, Kalia, Isaiah and Elisa; 12 great grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins in Italy.
