His door was always open to friends, family, hitchhikers
and homeless for shelter, food, drink and companionship.
His life is an example of sacrifice and service to all.
He loved and lived life to the fullest enjoying all
That was offered.
On Aug 5th Dad quietly and peacefully went home to be with His family and all those who have proceeded him in the past. We who are left will greatly miss him but our lives are better for having known him.
You will not be forgotten …we love you.
The Family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude and heartfelt appreciation to Dr. MacDonald for his years of compassion, service and friendship he gave Art and our family. Also to the Hospital and Medical staff who cared for him like their own. We are eternally grateful to Rick, Arlyss and family at Fellowship Baptist Church for the years of prayers and support they have lovingly given to both Art and Bernice. For the wonderful banquet table they prepared in his honor and celebration.
