Beverly Needham
April17, 1937 - April 28, 2016
It is with deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Needham on April 28, 2016 at her home in Sicamous, British Columbia at the age of 79 years. Bev was born in Vancouver, B.C. She later moved to Vernon, British Columbia and then to Revelstoke, where she met and married Gerry Needham. Bev worked as a hairdresser and raised 3 boys until they bought their property in Sicamous where they cleared the land and built their home which they moved into in 1980.
Bev was always happy to be out working and puttering around in her yard with her abundance of many flowers and going to bingo and taking walks with her friends. She enjoyed her family most and spent much time with her best friend Beattie as the two of them were inseperable for many, many years.
Bev was predeceased by her long time friend Beattie just a few short months ago. Bev is survived by her loving husband Gerry of 58 years. Sons; Jamie (Lori) of Prince George, B.C., Ross (Lori) of Revelstoke, B.C., Robin (May) of Calgary Alberta. Bev’s memory and laughter will live on forever through her grandchildren, Jordan, Jarrett, Leslie, Brody and Clair as well as her great grandchildren.
There will never be a more wonderful woman. She made us all better people, by just knowing her. You will be forever remembered and sadly missed. Until we meet again. REST IN PEACE, Dear Lady.
There will be no formal service for Bev as per her own request.
