Frances Adeline Jones passed away at Mt. Cartier Court, Revelstoke on Monday, September 11th, 2017 at the age of 78 years. A Memorial Service will be held at the Revelstoke Senior’s Centre on Friday, September 22nd, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, 119 – 1600 6th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. V6J 1R3, in memory of Frances.
Frances was born in North Pine, B.C. on December 15, 1938 and had been a resident of Revelstoke for the past 10 years. Her long nursing career was a big part of her life which she enjoyed immensely. Frances was proud to be a member of the strata council at Selkirk Gardens. She especially enjoyed looking after her grandchildren and others over the years.
Frances was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, Ed and Tony, one sister Josie and her grandson Frankie. She is survived by four children: Cindy (Rick) Allen and Rhonda (Oly) Brunetti, both of Revelstoke, Darryl Jones of Winfield and Sam (Charlene) Jones of Langley; four grandchildren: Laura, Danny, Ronnie and Charlie; two great grandchildren: Ryan and Everly; siblings: Lloyd, Leon, Carol and Julie and their families.
