It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gerald (Gerry) Harold Needham on Sept 11, 2016. Gerry was predeceased by his wife of 57 years Beverly Needham and his brother Jim Needham. He is survived by his brother Tom (Linda) Needham, his three sons Jamie (Lori), Ross (Lori), and Robin (May), his grandchildren Jennifer, Jordan, Jaret, Brodie, Claire, and Sarah, his great grandchildren Noah, Aubrey, Ashlyn, and Neveah as well as his many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Gerry was born in Revelstoke on March 25,1935 to Edith and Arthur Needham, he married Beverley on July 05, 1958 and raised his three boys in Revelstoke while running Needham and Sons Building Supply with his brother Tom.

Gerry dedicated 35 years to the Revelstoke Volunteer Fire Department, he loved fishing, duck hunting, golfing, waterskiing, boating and downhill skiing, and really enjoyed watching all types of sports. He was a devoted husband, trusted friend, great father, and helpful neighbour. Gerry and Bev enjoyed their later years in the house they built on Mara Lake in Sicamous, wintering in Mexico, and taking seasonal bus trips into the US. They especially enjoyed their many friends met through bingo in Canoe and Salmon Arm.

Gerry will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered for his good nature and jovial sense of humour. He always had a joke or two to warm up the room, especially during a crib game or "happy hour" - cheers Gerry!

Wishes for a celebration of life will be held next July for Bev and Gerry in Sicamous B.C.
