In Loving Memory ~

Lynn Lynn died in her sleep at 12:07 am, November 10, 2023. She had battled cancer for 19 months. Born in Haney, BC to William (Bill) and Muriel Esselmont (nee: Crawford), Lynn was the youngest of four children. Her sister Pat and brothers Bill and Don, all predeceased her.

Lynn is survived by her husband of 56 years (David), sons Murray and Michael, grandchildren Alex, Jada, and Jonah and a host of nieces, a nephew, and their families of children.

She often said, the seven best years of her life were spent in Revelstoke (1979-1986). Revelstoke was beautiful and a wonderful place to raise her sons.

While in Revelstoke, she coached minor soccer becoming the President of the minor soccer association and was the Director of Protocol for the 1983 Winter Games. She was also on the Zone Golf team for the 1983 BC Summer Games.

In 1985 she returned to the world of employment as a program Coordinator for Okanagan College. Most importantly she made many lifelong friends.

In 1986, Lynn moved to Okotoks, AB which has been her primary home except for the 2 years she lived in Pristina, Kosovo and the three months in Amman, Jordan.

Family, friends, golf, curling, skiing and contributing to her communities and travel were her passions.

She travelled to 37 countries, in North, Central, South America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East. Courtesy of lifelong friends, she also enjoyed cruising with her first experience in 2015.

Celebrating Lynn will occur at the Crystal Ridge Golf Course at 1:00 pm on November 26.
