Mrs. Pasqualina (Pat) Marshall passed away at Mt. Cartier Court Extended Care, Revelstoke on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at the age of 92 years. Mass of Christian Burial was held from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Revelstoke on Friday morning, January 23rd with Father Ramon Basilla

celebrant. Pallbearers were Pat’s grandchildren & great grandchildren: John Scarcelli Jr., Troy Scarcelli, Jason Knoblauch, Dean Knoblauch, Derek Scarcelli & Tyler

Romeo. Interment followed on Monday afternoon in the family plot of the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Vernon, B.C. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Revelstoke District Health Foundation, Box 2421, Revelstoke, B.C. V0E 2S0, or the charity of one’s choice, in memory of Pat.


Pat was born in Rovella, Cosenza, Italy on April 17, 1916 and had been a resident of Revelstoke for the past eight years. While living in Vernon she was an active long-time member of the Beaux & Belles dance troupe. Pat enjoyed bowling, curling, dancing,

sewing, knitting and crocheting. She was a wonderful cook and her family enjoyed many wonderful meals with her. Pat loved sports of all kinds and watching sports on television, but wrestling was her favourite.


Pat was predeceased by her husband George in 2000, three sisters and one brother. She is survived by three children: John (Marlene) Scarcelli, Hector (Bev) Scarcelli and Annette (Bryon) Knoblauch, all of Revelstoke; step-children: Fred (Betty) Marshall of Edmonton, Blanche Marshall of Edmonton and Adeline (Doug) Scammell of North Battleford, Saskatchewan; 22 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.


Arrangements were in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
