Raymond Timothy Cretelli, a beloved father, grandfather, esteemed community member, and cherished friend, passed away unexpectedly on February 27th, 2024, in Yuma, Arizona, at the age of 77. Born and raised in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Ray devoted his life to serving his community and bringing joy to those around him.

Ray's infectious smile and hearty laugh were a testament to his warm and generous spirit. He had a zest for life and a love for games, including golf, volleyball, bocce, and cards. Ray's competitive nature and sportsmanship endeared him to all who played alongside him.

In addition to his love for games, Ray had a passion for spending summers camping with his children and grandchildren, always seeking out spots with a view of the lake. Seated beside a good fire and next to his loved ones, Ray treasured these moments.

With 42 years in real estate, Ray was a pillar of the community, known for his integrity, professionalism, and dedication to his clients. He tirelessly worked to help people find their homes, leaving a lasting impact on countless families throughout the years.

Ray was a dedicated member of the Knights of Pythias, the Dramatic Order of the Knights of Khorassan, Kinsmen, amongst many other organizations where he found camaraderie and purpose in serving his hometown. Ray's dedication to these organizations demonstrated his generosity and unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of others.

Ray's unexpected passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew him, but his memory will forever be cherished.

To honour Ray's remarkable life, a celebration will be held at the Revelstoke Community Center on May 11th at 2:30 pm. Friends, family, and community members are invited to come together to share stories, laughter, and love as they remember the incredible impact Ray had on their lives.

In lieu of flowers, Ray's family is raising funds to create a community service bursary in his name, ensuring that his legacy of giving back will continue for years to come.
