Ronald Reid Holloway

(June 16, 1943 - December. 27, 2016)

HOLLOWAY Ronald Reid (Ron) passed away suddenly at his home in Malakwa B.C. December 27, 2016.

Uncle Ron was born in Winnipeg Manitoba before moving to Revelstoke, B.C. when he was a young child. Revelstoke was home for him. It was here that he worked for CPR, until he had to take an early retirement. He had a great love for the outdoors, camping, fishing and playing baseball were some of his favorite past times. After his retirement he left Revelstoke and began his career as a mushroom picker in the northern area of B.C. Being a mushroom picker gave him the best of both worlds, time with his sons and his wife Gail and also being outdoors where he wanted to be. Uncle Ron will always be remembered as a kind and loving man to all who knew him, he was always there to help anyone if they needed him.

Predeceased by his parents Phyllis and Irvin Holloway, and brother Pat Holloway. He is survived by his wife Gail Holloway, two sons Dana Holloway (Debbie) and Clay Holloway (Shauna), three step children Tim Wilcox (Donna) Darren Wilcox (Rhonda) and Shelleena Thornton (Ian), brother Kip Holloway (Jill), sisters Glenalee Berarducci (Dennis) and Jerilyn Haldorson (Hans), and numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
