More than 60 mountain bikers came out for the Revelstoke Cycling Association’s enduro race last Wednesday, May 24.

The race took place at Mount Macpherson and saw riders race down TNT, Berm Donor and party of Tantrum.

The enduro format has exploded in popularity over the last five years, with its relaxed format that lets you take your time on the climbs and only race on the descents.

40 men and 23 women took part in the race – the biggest turnout for an RCA race ever, we believe.

Not surprisingly, Stu Dickson won with a time of 10:18, only two seconds ahead of Ted Morton. Simon Gagnon finished third with a time of 11:08.

On the women’s side, Joanne Lachance took the victory in a time of 13:50, with Chantal Mathieu hot on her heels in 13:53. Marcy Bennett finished third with a time of 14:01.
