HEALING GRIEF A four-part series to support healing grief. This week's topic: Movement and Stillness Through Grief. Hosted by Tuulikki Tennant. This series will be of interest to individuals who have experienced the loss of a loved one and those who would like to be supportive. It is appropriate for high-school students, younger and older adults and is provided free of charge to the community. At the community centre. 7-8 p.m.

MOONLIGHT SKI Cross-country ski eight kilometres up to the Monashee Cabin in Mt. Revelstoke National Park. A fire will be going when you arrive and cookies and hot chocolate will be served. 4-8 p.m.

FIGURA THEATRE Iceland's master puppeteer performs Metamorphosis, a collection of hilarious and imaginative vignettes, featuring a cast of intricate, hand-carved marionette and unforgettable characters that are brought to life by hands, wooden spheres and silk scarves. BANNER PAINTING This year's theme is water. Banners hang in the streets for a year and then you get to keep it. At the Revelstoke Visual Arts Centre. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. $45 for kids and adults; $125 for businesses.

MOUNTAIN ROOTS FILM FESTIVAL Festival that brings together filmmakers from Revelstoke and across Canada to showcase films about mountain culture, adventure and life. Presented by the Friends of Mount Revelstoke & Glacier. At the Roxy Theatre. Showings at 12:30 and 3:30 p.m. each day. Best of the Fest is Feb. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
