Interested in golf lessons, a boat rental, or even a craft beer making experience?
Now is your chance to bid on any of these items and more to raise money for a good cause - the YMCA of Southern Interior BC.
The online auction for the YMCA’s annual Wilson M. Beck (WMB) Charity Golf Tournament opened on Monday, July 3 and will remain open until Wednesday, July 19. Two days before the auction closes, the golf tournament takes place on Monday, July 17.
All proceeds raised from the online auction and golf tournament will support the YMCA.
“It’s incredibly rewarding to be part of such an impactful event as this golf tournament,” said YMCA of Southern Interior BC Board Alumni Steven Pavelich. “The reach the Y has in the community, from newborns to seniors as young as 99, is heartwarming.”
The 13th annual golf tournament will take place at Kelowna Golf and Country Club and feature 144 golfers in the field, starting at 12 p.m. All 144 positions have already been filled.
“Our intention has always been to work closely with a charity who we could really embrace, one that shares our values of caring for and protecting those less fortunate, and that’s what we’ve done by partnering with the Y,” added Pavelich.
