Meet adoptable pups at Kelowna’s Accent Inn this ‘howl’-iday season.
To raise funds for animals in need, the BC Humane Society is bringing pooches looking for forever homes to Accent Inn hotels across the province with stops in Kamloops, Kelowna, Burnaby and Victoria.
The cuddly companions will be at Kelowna’s Accent Inn, located at 1140 Harvey Avenue, on Dec. 6, from 1 - 3p.m.
Pet enthusiasts are invited come out and play with the dogs, while also learning about opportunities to help the charity, including foster care, adoption and fundraising.
Across the province, Humane Societies are seeing an “alarming surge in surrendered animals and overpopulation.”
The BC Humane Society said that it is currently facing the most challenging period in animal welfare over the last two decades.
To help, the Accent Inn is also donating 10 per cent of every hotel stay in December to the Humane Society.
