The Revelstoke Adaptive Sports Program's BINGO fundraiser at the Taco Club on Friday, Mar. 25, was a huge success, raising more than $3,700 for the organization.
The restaurant was packed for the duration of the fundraiser, which raised $3,752, not including a percentage of sales the Taco Club said it would donate.
Revelstoke Adaptive Sports Program helps people with disabilities enjoy recreation opportunities around Revelstoke. The fundraiser coincided with a sit-ski camp at Revelstoke Mountain Resort on the weekend.
As well, James Eger, a RASP director and volunteer, was named the Instructor of the Year by the Canadian Association for Disabled Skiing. Eger is the head instructor for RASP.
