Meghan and Jim Simpson welcomed their first son Charles Curtis Simpson to the world on Jan. 5, 2012. Charles weighed 9 pounds 8 ounces and was born at 7:47 p.m. at Queen Victoria Hosptial. He was the first baby born in Revelstoke this year. The family is joined by Welcome Wagon representatives Marina Ozero (top left) and Corylie Dias (top right). They brought several bags full of baby supplies and other gifts from the community for the new family.
