VIDEO: BC Interior Forestry Museum’s kick-off event in Revelstoke

The museum opened its doors to the public on Friday, May 19

The BC Interior Forestry Museum hosted its summer kickoff event on a hot Friday (May 19) evening with plenty of activities.

With some live music, a bouncy castle, and a cross-cutting saw competition the event had something for everyone.

The cross-cutting saw was certainly a hit with teams of two stepping up to take their best slice at the log. The times varied between over a minute and just over 40 seconds.

When attendees weren’t watching the cutting contest, the lookout offered spectacular views of Revelstoke’s massive hydroelectric dam.
