The parade got underway at 1 p.m.

There was no shortage of things to do in Revelstoke for Canada Day this year, but a crowd formed along Third St. to welcome the parade as it rolled through town.

From big trucks to small cars, the parade recognized the national holiday in a colourful way for the whole community to enjoy.

Starting with a pancake breakfast at the Legion, the parade moved the crowd from downtown to Queen Elizabeth Park to play some games and activities until Shoestring Necktie at 3 p.m.

Some Revelstoke businesses shared their Canada Day wishes on Instagram to mark the day.
