Rolling out the dough

The annual St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church pie sale is a big group effort. The crew cranked out over 1,200 pies in three days. Pictured here is the pastry production team only – the auditorium was filled with more volunteers. From left: Eve Fisher, Doreen Hewko, Sharon Rafuse, Claudette Kendal, Lenore Belton, Anette Marcoffio, Lois Smith, Marie Pratico, Anette Knoblauch and Joan Holzer. The pie sale has been ongoing for about 25 years and serves as a fundraiser for the church.
