he Revelstoke Snowmobile Club made a donation of $1,765 to the Revelstoke food bank

The Revelstoke Snowmobile Club made a donation of $1,765 to the Community Connections Food Bank on Thursday morning.

The money came from the season-starting fundraiser the club held at the River City Pub on Saturday. The fundraiser, which featured a raffle, auction, live music and more, raised more than $14,000, much of which will go to the Canadian Avalanche Centre.

For the food bank, the donation represents a big boost as it enters the busy Christmas season, said director Patti Larson.
