Students describe life in Revelstoke through poetry

One poet asks: Is Revelstoke in the middle of nowhere or is it on a mountain somewhere?

Grade 5 and 6 students at Begbie View Elementary recently wrote poems about life in Revelstoke, as part of a school assignment.

Revelstoke schools reopened June 1. The district said roughly 80 per cent of elementary and 40 per cent of high school students returned.

B.C. schools had been closed since March.
