Rossland, B.C., artist Stephanie Gauvin will be the featured guest artist when Tina Lindegaard presents a variety of new works at her Begbie Studios this Saturday, April. 30.

Gauvin, who grew up in Quebec, graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from Sherbrooke College in 1989. The following year she packed her bags and moved across the country to live in the mountains of British Columbia, settling in Rossland.

She takes her inspiration from the mountains and the lifestyle she enjoys.

“When you feel you are where you should be in life, then spontaneity and imagination can be used to their full potential,” she writes on her website, www.artiststephaniegauvin.com.

Begbie Studios is located at 721 Fourth St. East. The new show opens on Apr. 30 from 7–10 p.m.
