Vernon has roped in a major country artist to perform in town.
Tim Hicks has announced his Campfire Troubadour tour, with a stop at the Vernon and District Performing Arts Centre Oct. 25.

Kicking off June 16 in Manitoba, Hicks will travel the country, with a trip to the United Kingdom in August, before coming back to his Canadian roots.
His B.C. shows will be accompanied by Teigan Gayse. Hailey Benedict will join him in Alberta.
Tickets are not yet on sale for the show in Vernon.
