Superman seat grabs, cliff-hangers and the kiss of death are just a few wild tricks locals will see this fall when extreme sports return to Penticton.

In other words, get ready to be on the edge of your seat because freestyle motocross is coming back to the South Okanagan Events Centre.

The Freestyle Motocross (FMX) World Tour will roar into the South Okanagan Events Centre on Saturday, Nov. 30.

"Fans can expect an evening of heart-stopping tricks and fierce competition as pro riders go head-to-head in events like Best Trick, Team Competitions, and the thrilling Back Flip Showdown," reads an announcement from the SOEC. The show starts at 6 p.m.

Some of the biggest names in extreme sports, including Nitro Circus and Monster Energy, will be vying for the FMX World Tour title when they compete in Penticton later this fall.

"This is your chance to witness the gravity-defying stunts and full-throttle action that have made these athletes legends in the freestyle motocross world," the announcement continues.

Tickets for the motocross show go on sale Oct. 4 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at the SOEC box office or on valleyfirsttix.com.

Those who grab their tickets before Nov. 1, will receive free pit passes, giving them exclusive access to the riders and a pit party from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
