Leah Evans held her annual Girls Day Out ski camp at Revelstoke Mountain Resort last weekend. She produced the above video and had this to say about the weekend:

“For Canada’s top professional freeski ladies its simply the mountains, the powder and skiing. Their excitement towards the sport is giving female skiing the attention it deserves and these ladies want to encourage more women to embrace freeskiing in Canada. That’s why 32 female skiers of all levels gathered together at Revelstoke Mountain Resort this past weekend for Girls Day Out Freeski Camp. This camp creates an opportunity for women to share in their passion for skiing and dare to move beyond their comfort zone with the direction and encouragement of pro freeski coaches. Moving into its sixth successful season, we know that by the end of the camp skiers from beginner to expert push themselves in unexpected ways and gain confidence to ski at a whole new level.

Thank you Sarah Burke for the inspiration.”

The coaches for the camp were Jill Young, Sarah Frood, Tessa Treadway, Izzy Lynch, Lesile Hogg, Jenny Liljegren and Leah Evans. Zoya Lynch served as photographer and Driftwood Productions did the video.
