The Revelstoke Credit Union has a busy year of giving back ahead of them for 2024.

In a press release, the Credit Union announced that their community giving initiative will be supporting the community to a sum of $ 75,000.

The money will be spent via their community giving program as well as their capital projects. The community giving program includes smaller-scale initiatives and the capital projects program includes what they describe as “legacy-type projects that can be utilized for generations.”

In 2023, the Credit Union was able to help fund 36 programs such as the Circus Camp hosted by Arts Revelstoke, Skate Camp for youth at the skate park in the summer, Soup & Smile at Revelstoke United Church, and Revelstoke Search and Rescue.

Those interested in applying for funding from the community giving program can visit Revelstoke Credit Union’s website.
