Scott McInnis is coming to town.
While that may not have the same ring as a particular holiday jingle, the Columbia-River-Revelstoke MLA and Kimberly resident is taking time this festive season to visit communities in the riding.
McInnis is expected to be in Revelstoke between Dec. 17 and 19. His schedule for these dates include a Revelstoke chamber breakfast at the Big Bend Cafe between 7:30 and 9:30 a.m on the 18th. Chamber members and non-members are welcome to the event with the B.C. Conservative's Shadow Minister for Indigenous Relations and Reconciliation.
"It is my pleasure to be meeting with the Revelstoke Chamber of Commerce network for an opportunity to discuss their celebrations and challenges today and moving forward," said McInnis in a chamber announcement. "Revelstoke has such a creative entrepreneurial spirit which is the lifeblood of this world class city. As your MLA, I will be fighting hard for you to ensure local business can thrive during an increasingly difficult economic environment.”
Tickets and information for this event are available at revelstokechamber.com.
Also on the 18th, a welcoming ceremony for McInnis will be held at 1 p.m. at Grizzly Plaza.
McInnis' Revelstoke office is located at 107 First Street East, and can be reached by calling 250-803-0323.
