Revelstoke’s Evan Parliament joins association of municipal administrators

Revelstoke’s city manager, Evan Parliament has joined the board of directors for the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators (CAMA).

In a press release from CAMA, it was stated that Parliament was acclaimed as the CAMA representative-elect for British Columbia in April, and joined the board table during CAMA’s annual general meeting on June, 4. Parliament will serve a four-year term on the board.

Parliament has been serving as the city manager of Revelstoke since 2022 and has been working in local government since 1986 in various communities such as Bentley, Summerland, Sooke, and Sicamous.

“I am honoured to be part of the CAMA Board and firmly believe that CAMA stands as a beacon of support, especially in times of uncertainty for CAOs navigating political shifts and the complexities of social media dynamics,” said Parliament.
