Revelstoke may be known for its untamed mountain views and legendary powder, but a new kind of experience is about to take root – one that trades skis for elevated plates and lift lines for craft cocktails.
Opening June 26 in MacKenzie Village, The Den promises a dining experience that reflects the spirit of Revelstoke: adventurous, local and unpretentiously refined. Set against the backdrop of the Monashees, this brand-new après-style restaurant blends upscale ambiance with community warmth, offering a place to gather, graze, sip and stay awhile.

At the heart of The Den is a from-scratch kitchen that doesn’t take shortcuts. The menu is curated with care, leaning on seasonal ingredients and a strong commitment to sourcing local. From vegan and gluten-free dishes to hearty classics, The Den takes pride in its inclusive approach to dining – this is elevated comfort food for everyone at the table.
Themed dinner nights add a dynamic touch to the weekly lineup, like Prime Rib Saturdays, which are sure to become a local favourite. On Fridays, things shift into a livelier gear with DJ nights and live music sessions, creating the perfect rhythm for a weekend unwind.
Behind the bar, guests will find 12 taps showcasing a rotating selection of craft brews, alongside a creative cocktail list spotlighting seasonal flavours. Whether you’re a beer purist or a cocktail adventurer, there’s something here to raise a glass to.

While the doors open in June, there’s more still to come. A spacious patio is set to launch in early July – just in time for those long Revelstoke summer evenings. The Den also plans to host charity nights throughout the year, donating 10 per cent of evening proceeds to local causes. Nonprofits interested in applying can reach out to Kris Lakatos at info@thedenrevelstoke.ca.
Open seven days a week from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., The Den is ready to welcome locals and visitors alike. For those interested in joining the team, General Manager Chris Eastman is currently hiring and can be reached at chris@thedenrevelstoke.ca.
Revelstoke has always been a place where people come for the adventure – and stay for the community. With the arrival of The Den, there’s now one more reason to linger a little longer.
