UPDATE: Gary Starling pulls out of city council race

Gary Starling has withdrawn from the Revelstoke city council race, though he was nominated last week.

Starling previously served as a city councillor from 2011-2014.

Starling said it his experience as well as his belief that there are several pressing issues that will need to be addressed as soon as the election is over, that drove him to run this year.

Starling has lived in Revelstoke since 1980.
