The RCMP rescinded an Amber Alert for two missing girls after they and their mother were found in the Fraser Valley Wednesday afternoon.

Talisha and Taya Meisel were located in Boston Bar, B.C., along with their biological mother, Trina Meisel, two days after the girls were first reported missing.

Alberta RCMP said the girls snuck out of school in Vulcan, Alta., Monday morning to meet with their biological mother, who is not their legal guardian.

On Wednesday morning an Amber Alert was issued in B.C. and Alberta for the two girls. They were found later that day and taken into police custody, where they were said to be OK.

The mother has been arrested and charged with two counts of abduction.
