Two people were arrested after being found in a stolen vehicle parked outside the Revelstoke Pharmasave on Friday.
RCMP were called to the scene at around noon after witnesses observed suspicious behaviour.
Several witnesses told the Review that at least two people spent the night sleeping in the Ford F250.
When RCMP arrived, they discovered the vehicle was stolen. It also had an Alberta license plate that was stolen from another vehicle.
A man and a woman were arrested and detained while police searched the vehicle.
Three RCMP officers attended the scene, including one who showed up in an unmarked vehicle. According to witnesses, the police had their guns drawn when they made the arrests.
The arrests comes a day after the RCMP issued a new release warning that Ford F250 and F350 pick up trucks are high-value targets.
