Highway 1 will be closed this afternoon for avalanche control work west of Revelstoke.
The Trans Canada will be closed from2:30-4:30 p.m. from the Griffin Lake Avalanche Gate to the Clanwilliam OH Bridge.
Originally scheduled for yesterday evening, the work is now scheduled for this afternoon.
