Brief: Avalanche closure in Glacier National Park

Trans-Canada Highway closure from 6 a.m. to noon in Glacier National Park on Saturday, Jan. 11 due to avalanche control.

DriveBC has announced a Trans-Canada Highway closure from 6 a.m. to noon in Glacier National Park on Saturday, Jan. 11 due to avalanche control.

The highway will also be closed from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. from Golden to 16 kilometres east of Golden for avalanche control.

Also, Highway 23 is closed at Mica Dam due to avalanche hazared.
