A grass fire that sparked in Vernon Tuesday afternoon appears to be under control.
The fire was reported around 1:15 p.m. Aug. 6 on Alexis Park Drive at 35th Avenue.
Crews could be seen hosing down the fire above the road around 1:30 p.m.
It is currently unknown how the fire was started.
