UPDATE: Highway 97A near Enderby reopened after vehicle incident

The vehicle incident on Highway 97A outside of Enderby has been cleared and the highway has been reopened, DriveBC reports.

Highway 97A is closed in both directions just south of Enderby due to a vehicle incident.

DriveBC reported the crash around 12:30 p.m. Saturday, July 1.

The crash took place between Canyon Road and Fortune Road, near Quilakwa Crescent.

Crews were en route by 12:30 p.m., an assessment is in progress, and a detour is available via Enderby-Grindrod Road.

“Drive with caution in the area and expect delays,” DriveBC said in a tweet.

DriveBC’s next update will come at 2 p.m.
