An annual information report from a June 28 committee meeting lists the mayor and council’s remuneration for 2010.

Their annual rate of pay has not changed for some years. The mayor earns $22,000 annually, while each of the six councillors got $11,000. The report is for information only and does not recommend discussion on changing council’s remuneration.

The report also includes expense claims. Fiscal hard-liner Coun. Tony Scarcella filed the thickest expense claim at $2,310. Here are the remaining claims in descending order: Coun. Steve Bender, $2,121; Coun. Chris Johnston, $2,059; Coun. Antoinette Halberstadt, $1,885; Mayor David Raven; $1,707; Coun. Peter Frew, $1,220; Coun. Phil Welock, $1,129.
