A vehicle crashed into a 27th Street building in Vernon Thursday afternoon.
The incident took place shortly after 1 p.m. in the 4300 block.
The white Grand Caravan minivan could be seen against the Dulux Paints shop, with minor damages to both the vehicle and the building.
Vernon Fire Rescue Services, the RCMP and BC Ambulance attended the incident.
RCMP media relations officer Cpl. Tania Finn said police arrived at the scene to find a vehicle had been attempting to pull into the parking lot at low speed when it collided with the side of the building.
Police spoke to the 93-year-old female driver and determined she was physically uninjured, however, she was taken to hospital as a precaution.
The driver’s family went to the scene to retrieve the vehicle.
Police seized the woman’s driver’s licence and will request the superintendent of motor vehicles conduct a licence review.
The entryway to Dulux Paints was blocked off by cones and a police officer could be seen talking to the driver.
Traffic was unaffected on 27th Street.
