RCMP warn of numerous smash and grabs in Revelstoke

It is unknown who is responsible and RCMP advise people to secure their belongings

Revelstoke RCMP say they are getting numerous reports of vandalism today.

Car windows are being smashed and small items from the cars are being stolen. One car was broken into on Westside Road and another between the two bridges.

Both vehicles were locked.

It is unknown who is respnsible, but RCMP assume it’s someone who has entered Revelstoke from the highway.

RCMP want to remind people to hide valuables in their cars and secure their belongings, such as in carports, in vehicles and on porches.
