Minor injuries were incurred when a tractor-trailer and an SUV collided on the Trans-Canada Highway about three kilometres west of Revelstoke Tuesday afternoon.
The two people in the SUV were treated at the scene by paramedics as the crash spilled fuel over the highway. The Ministry of the Environment was called to deal with the clean-up, said fire chief Rob Girard.
He said firefighters created a dike to collected the fuel.
The driver of the tractor-trailer was not hurt.
