PHOTOS: Alberta Beer Festival stops in Revelstoke

Revelstoke is the only B.C. stop for the festival

The Alberta Beer Festival got to town yesterday, hosting their first night at Revelstoke Mountain Resort for the weekend.

Revelstoke is one the last stops for the travelling beer festival this season. Over the winter, the festival has had stops in Banff, Edmonton, and Jasper, with the last stop landing in Calgary in May.

The event was a hit for it’s first evening in Revelstoke, with attendees catching the gondola up to attend and filling the Revelation lodge. Tickets for beer samples were sold at the door, and vendors were sprawled out around the lodge to try. With more than 15 different breweries from B.C. and Alberta, there was no shortage of options to pick from.

Today (Apr. 1) is the final day of the festival. The festival gets underway once more today from 12–4 p.m. and then again from 5–9 p.m. Tickets for today’s event can be bought online.
