Police on hunt for Revelstoke Subway robber

Revelstoke RCMP are searching for a man in late-40s who robbed the Revelstoke Subway on Tuesday.

Revelstoke RCMP are looking for help in tracking down a man who robbed the Subway restaurant on Tuesday afternoon.

RCMP said the man entered the restaurant in the late afternoon and demanded all the money from the till.

He did not produce a weapon and neither of the employees were hurt during the incident.

The RCMP conducted patrols of the area and a police dog was called in from Vernon, but no tracks were located.

It is not known how the man escaped, said RCMP Staff-Sgt. Jacquie Olsen.

The suspect is described as being in his late-40s, about 180 centimetres (5’11”), thin build, sunken face, blue eyes, white facial hair, wearing jeans and a white jacket.

The RCMP is asking anyone with information about the incident to contact them at 250-837-5255 or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-8477.
