Golfers are taking a swing at ALS, raising funds and supporting those living with the disease.
The month of June has golf professionals around B.C. trying to golf as many holes as possible, raising awareness and funds for the ALS Society of B.C.
One of 44 courses across the province participating in the 18th annual PGA of BC Golfathon for ALS will be the Shuswap National Golf Course, hosting pros Brody St-Martin, Dave Munn and Austin Bosquet on Tuesday, June 27.
Proceeds from the golf event, presented by Pacific Blue Cross, go to support those living with ALS and their families, providing caregivers and facilities with needed funds.
Donors can also support the cause at the Golfathon for ALS website.
