In Brief: Someone shot a local dog with a paintball gun last week.

The incident was reported to police just before 4 p.m. on Thursday, May 12.

A Burke Drive resident called the RCMP after they found a paintball stain on their dog.

A Revelstoke RCMP spokesperson said police were continuing to investigate the incident.
