Revelstoke Mountain Resort hosts public information session

Doors to the information session will be open until 8 p.m. this evening (March 28)

Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) are hosting a public information session this afternoon (March 28) for residents who are interested in learning more about future development.

The information session was scheduled after an amendment to a Zoning Bylaw was met with confusion from Revelstoke city council. The amendment would give RMR the ability to apply for density shifting as the resort, and golf course, is developed.

At 4 p.m., roughly 30 people, a mix of residents and representatives from RMR, were in attendance.

“We hope this will create an opportunity for more thorough and thoughtful planning of future investments within the Resort and the community of Revelstoke,” said RMR on their website.

The information session will be open until 8 p.m.

A public hearing for the application to amend Zoning Bylaw No. 2346 will take place on Apr. 4.
