With just a few days left in the season, Revelstoke Mountain Resort (RMR) is thriving with plenty of fresh powder for late-season riders.

According to their snow report, RMR has seen 21 cm of fresh snow over the last 48 hours, with 18 cm coming in the past day. The report adds that overnight snow is making for powder conditions at higher elevations and that mid and lower mountain will remain in the melt-freeze cycle.

The freezing level sits at 1600 metres and will remain there until the weekend (April 15) when the temperature is expected to rise.

The Revelstoke-based resort has seen a total of 832 cm of snow so far this season.

RMR will close for the season on Sunday, April 16.
