Construction notices from DriveBC as of 7:45 a.m.:

Highway 1 east: Paving operations between East Boundary of Mount Revelstoke National Park and Glacier Park West Boundary for 15.6 km. Single lane alternating traffic, expect 15 minute delays.

Road maintenance work between Rogers Pass Summit Rd and Beaver Valley Rd for 3.9 km. Watch for crews, expect intermittent stoppages in traffic for equipment. Construction work between Glacier Park East Boundary and Wiseman Rd for 4.6 km. Expect minor delays.

Road construction work between Donald Rd and Forde Station Rd for 5.0 km. Expect minor delays.

Highway 1 west: No current construction.

Highway 23 north: Mudslide between Wallis Rd and Downie St for 4.0 km. Single lane alternating traffic.

Highway 23 south: No current construction.

Wildfires in the Southeast Fire Centre:

No fires near Revelstoke.

Mission-Wychliffe Rd near Kimberley: A 1 Ha fire suspected to be person caused. Discovered on May 2.

Hosmer Bridge near Fernie: A 6 Ha fire suspected to be person caused, discovered April 26.

Lower Fording near Elkford: A 0.01 Ha fire suspected to be person caused, discovered May 3.
