The Summerland Secondary School Biology 12 class is hosting a stem cell registry event Friday, Dec. 8 from 3 to 4 p..m. and from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

The event is open to people between the ages of 17 to 35.

Organizers say the sign-up process takes five minutes and could help to save a life.
