Sweeping will be taking place on the Trans-Canada Highway today. The sweeping will be between Glacier National Park and 33 km east of Revelstoke between 6:30 a.m. and 3 p.m.
Bridge maintenance is taking place 22km west of Revelstoke from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. today. Hwy. 1 is down to single lane alternating traffic with delays up to 20 minutes expected.
On Hwy. 23, winter highway maintenance is taking place on a three-kilometre section of road beginning 5km north of Revelstoke. The work is expected to wrap up at 10 a.m., but until then, the road is reduced to single lane alternating traffic.
